By accessing or using LimitYourAPI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
LimitYourAPI is a software-as-a-service platform providing API rate limiting, quota management, and abuse prevention tools for backend developers. The Service includes a web dashboard, REST API, SDKs, and CLI tools.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for safeguarding your authentication credentials, API keys, and all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for illegal purposes, to distribute malware, or to intentionally overload or exploit our infrastructure. Specifically, you may not:
- Circumvent the rate limits of other third-party services.
- Distribute malicious software or conduct DDoS attacks.
- Violate the intellectual property rights of others.
- Resell or sublicense the Service without prior written consent.
5. Service Availability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Our SDKs are designed with a fail-open architecture to ensure your primary API availability is preserved during any service degradation.
6. Intellectual Property
LimitYourAPI remains the owner of all infrastructure, algorithms, and software provided as part of the Service. You retain ownership of your request data and configuration parameters.
7. Billing & Refunds
Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page.
